I tested
I tested 2% milk and it was perfect for a cappuccino or a latté. You will find that the higher fat content of the milk the better your results, but you can still froth skim or even soy milk. Verdict
I am really impressed with this great little gadget. I have a manual milk frother and I rarely use it because it takes a lot of elbow grease to froth the milk and it’s a pain in the butt to clean. With this frother you don’t have to worry about getting carpal tunnel or spending ages dismantling it for cleaning. Just press the button on top to froth your milk and give it a quick rinse in soapy water to clean. The stand is a great little extra, nice enough to have on display if you like, or simply tuck it away in a cupboard if you prefer. One way or another it’s one less thing to throw in the abyss I call the utensil drawer. This price is also very competitive. I searched around and found most similar products to be at least double the price, some even triple. If you’re interested in making some yummy foamy beverage treats, I would definitely recommend the Joie's Battery-Operated Frother with Stand.
