Ingredients
- 3 tbsp (15 mL) extra-virgin olive oil
- 1onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp (1 mL) each salt, oregano and hot pepper flakes
- 2 cans tuna, drained
- 5 cups fusilli
- 3 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Steps
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil in skillet and cook onion, garlic, red pepper, salt, oregano and hot pepper flakes, for about 5 minutes. Add remaining oil and tuna, breaking into chunks, and cook for another 5 minutes.
- In the meantime, cook pasta until desired doneness. Drain and return to pot.
- Add parsley and contents of skillet to pasta pot and toss to coat.
