Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 large Spanish onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 4 cups tomato ketchup
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 tsp dry mustard powder
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Steps
- Saute onions and garlic in olive oil until clear.
- Add all other ingredients and cook at low heat for 40-45 minutes to reduce liquid.
- This sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for 2 weeks and is especially good on red meats.
