Ingredients
- 2 medium pork tenderloins
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) teriyaki sauce
- 6 tbsp (90 mL) maple syrup
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 cloves garlic
- 5 drops Tabasco
Steps
- Cut the tenderloins into square-inch pieces. You can also lightly press the pieces with a spoon before placing them in the marinade.
- Marinate all of the ingredients in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
- Remove the meat from the refrigerator 4 to 5 hours prior to cooking.
- Sear the pork in a cast-iron pan.
- After a few moments, lower the heat slightly. This will produce a sauce.
- Once the sauce has evaporated (about 15 minutes), add the remaining marinade and cook for 5 minutes or until the sauce has evaporated.
