Tangy Tuna Melts

Ingredients

  1. 3 sesame seed bagels, halved 
  2. 2 cans tuna 
  3. Miracle Whip 
  4. 2 green onions, sliced 
  5. Salt and pepper 
  6. 6 slices mozarella

Steps

  1. Drain tuna and place in bowl. Add Miracle Whip, green onions and salt and pepper to taste. Mix together well.
  2. Spread tuna mixture on 6 bagel halves and top each with a slice of mozzarella.
  3. Place on baking sheet and broil for 5 minutes.
  4. Top with freshly ground pepper, if desired.
  5. Note: I use Miracle Whip because it provides that extra-tangy flavour. If you wish, you can use mayonnaise instead.
