Red Wine Punch

Great for the holiday season!

Ingredients

  1. 1 lemon 
  2. 2 pineapple slices, cut in pieces 
  3. 4 oz (125 mL) cognac 
  4. 4 tbsp (60 mL) brown sugar 
  5. 1 cup (250 mL) water 
  6. 8 tbsp (120 mL) maraschino cherry juice 
  7. 2 bottles (1.5 L) red wine 
  8. Ice cubes

Steps

  1. Cut the lemon in slices and the pineapple in pieces.
  2. Place them in a punch bowl. Cover with the cognac, the brown sugar diluted in 1cup (250 mL) water and the maraschino cherry juice.
  3. Let it stand for 1 hour. Add the red wine and the ice cubes.
