Ingredients

  1. 2 egg whites 
  2. 1 pinch salt 
  3. 1/2 cup (110 g) sugar 
  4. Raisins or candied fruit

Steps

  1. Beat the egg whites with the sugar and salt until peaks form.
  2. Place wax paper on a cookie sheet. With a spoon, create phantom shapes on the wax paper.
  3. Add eyes with the raisins or candied fruit.
  4. Bake at 200°F (95°C) for 1 hour and let cool for another hour in a closed oven.
  5. Makes about 12 phantoms.
