Ground Beef with Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

  1. 1 lb (450 g) medium ground beef  
  2. 7 medium-sized potatoes  
  3. 5 medium-sized carrots  
  4. 1 can (398 mL) yellow or green beans  
  5. 2 jars (398 mL each) barbecue sauce 

Steps

  1. Dice the potatoes. Peel, if desired.
  2. Peel the carrots and cut in rounds.
  3. In a saucepan, cook the potatoes and carrots until desired tenderness, about 10 minutes.
  4. In a skillet, melt a bit of butter or margarine and cook the ground beef for 3 minutes or until desired doneness.
  5. Drain the carrots and potatoes.
  6. Combine all of the ingredients in a large saucepan. Heat until the sauce starts to smoke. Serve.
