Garlic Stuffed Mushrooms au Gratin

Ingredients

  1. 12 large mushrooms  
  2. 1/4 cup (50 mL) Italian bread crumbs  
  3. 3 tbsp (45 mL) garlic butter  
  4. 2 tbsp (30 mL) grated Parmesan  
  5. 1/8 cup (25 mL) mushroom stems  
  6. Gruyère cheese to taste

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F (180 C).
  2. Remove the mushroom stems and cut into little pieces.
  3. Combine all of the ingredients, using enough garlic butter so they stick together.
  4. Using a teaspoon, fill the mushroom caps without breaking them.
  5. Top with Gruyère. Cook in oven for 10 minutes to heat through and then broil.
