Ingredients
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) olive oil
- 1/4 cup (30 mL) butter
- 1 tsp (5 mL) flour
- 380 mL (12 oz) evaporated milk (can be replaced with cream)
- 3/4 cup (180 mL) Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tsp (5 mL) parsley, chopped
- 1-1/2 cups (375 mL) chicken, in strips
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) cooked bacon, crumbled
- 4 cups (1 L) fettuccine
- Pepper to taste
Steps
- Cook the fettuccine in boiling water and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook the chicken and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt the butter and add the flour. Cook for a few minutes.
- Pour in the milk (or cream) and stir using a whisk.
- Add the cheese and parsley.
- Add the chicken and bacon. Pepper and let cook a few more minutes.
- Add the fettuccine and serve!
