Crustless Salmon Pie

Ingredients

  1. 3 cups (750 mL) mashed potatoes 
  2. 1/2 cup (50 g) Cheddar or Swiss cheese, grated 
  3. 1/2 cup (125 mL) mayonnaise  
  4. 1/4 cup (15 g) green onions, chopped  
  5. 1 egg, beaten  
  6. 2 cans (7.5 oz; 213 g each) salmon, drained

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F (200 C).
  2. Cook the potatoes and mash them.
  3. Add the other ingredients and combine.
  4. Put in a pie plate and bake at 400 F (200 C) for 35 to 45 minutes, until golden.
  5. Serve with a green salad.
