Chicken Skewer Marinade

This recipe is good for about 600 g of chicken breasts.

Ingredients

  1. 2 cloves garlic, minced  
  2. 3 green onions, finely chopped  
  3. 2 tbsp (30 mL) olive oil 
  4. 1/2 cup (125 mL) soy sauce  
  5. 2 tbsp (30 mL) red wine vinegar  
  6. 1/2 tsp (2 g) chili powder 
  7. Parsley, to taste 
  8. Salt and pepper

Steps

  1. Mix together all of the ingredients.
  2. Add chicken cut in cubes and let marinate in the refrigerator for 6 to 8 hours.
  3. From time to time, stir the chicken to help it absorb the marinade.
  4. Prepare the brochettes with your choice of vegetables and cook on the barbecue.
  5. Bring the remaining marinade to a boil if you wish to use it as a basting sauce while cooking the brochettes.
