Ingredients
- 2 large russet potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1/2 a head of cauliflower florets
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp margarine or butter
- potato water or milk to moisten mash
- salt and pepper to taste
Steps
- Peel potatoes, dice and place in pot of cold water.
- Cut the cauliflower florets off the stem and add to potatoes in water.
- Add whole peeled garlic to water and bring potatoes and cauliflower to boil.
- When potatoes, garlic and cauliflower are soft, strain and mash till smooth.
- Add water or milk and margarine to mash to bind. Add the seasoning.
