Ingredients

  1. 1 can (6 oz; 170 g) tuna 
  2. 3/4 cup (190 mL) bread crumbs 
  3. 1 egg, beaten 
  4. 1/4 cup (65 mL) mayonnaise 
  5. 4 hamburger buns 
  6. Salt, to taste 
  7. Pepper, to taste

Steps

  1. Drain the can of tuna. In a bowl, crush the tuna with a fork.
  2. Add the bread crumbs, egg, mayonnaise, salt and pepper.
  3. Shape into 4 patties.
  4. Cook in a skillet for about 5 minutes each side.
  5. Garnish buns with lettuce. Add the tuna patties and top with mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, mustard, etc.
