Ingredients

  1. 2 potatoes, medium 
  2. 2 tablespoons (30 grams) butter 
  3. 1/4 cup (65 ml) 2% milk 
  4. 6 branches fresh chives, chopped 
  5. 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sour cream (optional)

Steps

  1. Peel the potatoes.
  2. Bring a saucepan of water to boil. Boil the potatoes. Potatoes are ready when they break easily.
  3. Once cooked, place the potatoes in a large bowl with butter, milk and sour cream. Mash until desired consistency.
  4. Add the chopped chives. Mix slightly.
  5. Serve immediately.
  6. Note:
    This recipe doubles easily.
