Serve on the noodles. Garnish with parsley and paprika.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) margarine
- 1 lb (450 g) interior round steak, cut in thin strips
- 1/2 lb (225 g; 1 container) sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 can (284 mL) cream of mushroom and garlic
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) sour cream or milk
- 1/2 tsp (1 g) paprika
- 4 cups (1000 mL; 800 g) hot cooked noodles
- Parsley and paprika for garnish
Steps
- In a large saucepan, melt the margarine over high heat.
- Brown the beef. Lightly season it. Set aside.
- Sauté the mushrooms in the remaining margarine until the liquid evaporates.
- Stir in the soup, the sour cream and the paprika. Add the beef. Heat through without boiling.
