Ingredients

  1. 1 package of extra firm tofu  
  2. 1 tsp soya sauce  
  3. 1 tsp of oil  
  4. Terriyaki or your favourite BBQ Sauce for brushing

Steps

  1. Cut the tofu in half down the middle. Cut each half in four so that you have a total of 8 slices.
  2. Marinate the slices in soya sauce and oil for an hour or so.
  3. Place the slices on a medium hot grill for 2 minutes until grill marks form and baste with BBQ sauce. Turn over and grill the other side for about 2 minutes and baste again.
  4. You can also experiment to make waffle grill marks, or grill them longer for a crunchy coating. It's the best way to introduce someone new to tofu.
