Ingredients
- 1 package of extra firm tofu
- 1 tsp soya sauce
- 1 tsp of oil
- Terriyaki or your favourite BBQ Sauce for brushing
Steps
- Cut the tofu in half down the middle. Cut each half in four so that you have a total of 8 slices.
- Marinate the slices in soya sauce and oil for an hour or so.
- Place the slices on a medium hot grill for 2 minutes until grill marks form and baste with BBQ sauce. Turn over and grill the other side for about 2 minutes and baste again.
- You can also experiment to make waffle grill marks, or grill them longer for a crunchy coating. It's the best way to introduce someone new to tofu.
