Ingredients

  1. 1 cedar plank
  2. 2 portion size of skinless and boneless salmon fillet
  3. 3 tbsp of good terriyaki sauce
  4. toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Steps

  1. Soak the cedar plank for at least 2 hours in water. Marinate the fish fillets with the teriyaki sauce while the plank is soaking.
  2. Dry the plank and spray or rub with oil. Place the fish on the plank. Put the planked fish on a medium high barbecue and close lid. Check on it to be sure the wood is not on fire.
  3. After about 15-20 minutes, depending on desired doneness of fish, it is ready,  Leave the plank on the grill to cool off with the barbecue turned off.
  4. Sprinkle sesame seeds on the salmon.
