This cheesecake is very easy to make and refreshing, too. It's a delight!

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup (110 g) butter
  2. 1 cup (225g) granulated sugar
  3. 1 cup (175 g) flour
  4. 1 package (250 g) of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
  5. 1 egg
  6. 1/2 tsp (2.5 mL) vanilla extract
  7. 1/2 tsp (2.5 g) cinnamon
  8. 4 cups (400 g) sliced apples
  9. 1/4 cup (20 g) sliced almonds

Steps

  1. Mix together the butter and 1/3 cup (75 g) granulated sugar. Stir in flour.
  2. Spread the dough in bottom and 1 inch (2.5 cm) high on the sides of a 9-inch (22 cm) hinged mold. Set aside.
  3. Beat cream cheese and 1/3 cup (75 g) granulated sugar until the mixture is homogeneous.
  4. Add egg and vanilla, mix well. Spread evenly in crust.
  5. Mix together remaining sugar and cinnamon. Coat apples in this mixture and then place on the layer of cream cheese. Sprinkle with almonds.
