Ingredients
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) butter
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) sugar
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 eggs
- 500 ml (2 cups) flour
- 10 ml (2 tsp) baking powder
- 2 ml (1/2 tsp) baking soda
- 2 ml (1/2 tsp) salt
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) milk
Steps
- Beat butter until creamy.
- Add sugar and mashed banana.
- Mix well.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix dry ingredients.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients, alternating batches with milk.
- Pour into a buttered and floured loaf pan.
- Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 50 minutes or until a knife inserted in center of dough comes out clean.
