If you prefer, you can substitute medium Cheddar for the Gruyère.
Ingredients
- 2 cans (14 oz; 398 ml) hearts of palm
- 2 sweet red peppers
- 1 lemon
- 1/2 lb (225 g) Gruyère cheese, to taste
- 1 tsp (5 mL) curry
- Pepper to taste
- 3/4 cup (190 mL) whipping cream
Steps
- Cut the red peppers, the hearts of palm and the Gruyère cheese in pieces. Combine in a salad bowl. Add the lemon juice.
- In another bowl, combine the whipping cream, the pepper and the curry. Pour the mixture on the hearts of palm.
- Marinate for several hours, up to 24 hours.
- Serve on a leaf of lettuce on a plate.
