Baked Onion French Fries with Rosemary and Thyme

These are a great side dish: simple to make and delicious.

Ingredients

  1. 4 large potatoes 
  2. 4 tbsp olive oil 
  3. 1 onion, sliced 
  4. 3 tsp rosemary 
  5. 3 tsp thyme 
  6. 1/4 tsp each salt and pepper

Steps

  1. Pre-heat oven to 425°F.
  2. Cut potatoes into thin French fries (or wedges if you prefer).
  3. In bowl, whisk together oil, rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper.
  4. Place potatoes and onions in bowl; toss to coat well.
  5. Place on baking sheet in oven for about 30 minutes, flipping them half way through.
  6. Tip: If you've cut your potatoes into wedges or larger fries, you may want to add to the baking time.
